Current Research Themes	I am interested in the formation and circulation of knowledge and concepts through the mobility of people, objects, and ideas. Specifically, I study how the idea of "Persia" was shaped in early 20th-century Japan, using an interdisciplinary approach that integrates art history, architectural history, archaeology, history, and literature.
