Announcements

Shinano Mainichi Shimbun featured the article "From the Ground Up: Japan’s Siberian Intervention of 1918–1922 from the Perspective of Infantryman Takeuchi Tadao." The article was published in volume 38 (2023) of Japan Review, the English-language academic journal published by Nichibunken. The author is Associate Professor Nadine Willems of the University of East Anglia in the U.K. The article was based on the drawings of Mr. Takeuchi (deceased), a native of Nagano City, who recorded the battle scenes of his Siberian expedition.
