Our response to the new coronavirus infectious disease (Report no.17)
At Nichibunken, for the foreseeable future, we shall respond to the New Coronavirus Infection in the following fashion:
- All visitors to Nichibunken are requested to wear a mask, to disinfect their hands and to undergo a temperature check in the entrance hall (or, on holidays, at the north entrance). Visitors who reside in areas that are subject to a state of emergency declaration, or in areas where concerted measures for preventing the spread of the virus are in place, are asked to refrain from visiting the center.
- With regard to hosting events at Nichibunken for the general public, our priority is to implement measures against the New Coronavirus fully in accord with guidelines set down by the government and by Kyoto Prefecture.
- Foreign travel by members of academic and administrative staff
Unnecessary, non-urgent travel - private or business-related - is prohibited in principle to regions where the danger of infection is designated “2 and above” by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
*We are liable to change our response to the New Coronavirus Infection at any moment depending on circumstances.
