| Current Research Themes | Pan-Asianism refers to ideas concerning a new order in Asia envisioned by Asian intellectuals after encountering the Westphalian system; accordingly, its content varies among different advocates. My study focuses on strands of Pan-Asianism that are close to Liberalism in international relations theory, particularly those advanced by Inukai Tsuyoshi and Sun Yat-sen. |
