▶ view PDF Japan’s ancient capital Kyōto has rich ceramic traditions. Many generations have explored the possibilities of the transformations of earth. Even the pandemic time was not wasted. Many old and young artists with varied background have come forward with innovative styles, techniques and interpretations. Some of these artists are already well known to the international public, others are relatively new or unknown. The presentation will be devoted to the newest trends in ceramic art in Kyōto and its vicinity.
