We are planning to establish the method of spatial analysis of historical information by interdisciplinary cooperation of archaeology, geography and information science. We have been accumulated enormous quantity of archaeological and geographical data including agricultural settlements, urban settlements, burials and exchange systems. We think that the establishment of the method for spatial analysis of these data is extremely important at present time. We would like to discuss how to built up the digital data of historical information, and how to analyze the digital data by Geographic Information System (GIS) and statistical method. We will propose the standard method of spatial analysis through the case studies of historical information.
